Directions
The Faculty of Restoration – Conservation, Art History and Theory was established in its present form in 2005. The faculty aims to research and teach world and Georgian art and, in general, Georgian culture; interdisciplinary studies, congruence and synchronicity of the research and teaching process, which implies the accumulation of significant research potential at the faculty and teaching through the involvement of students in research programs; Also, the faculty aims to teach the conservation of cultural heritage to students in the direction of restoration in accordance with modern world standards; To establish the conservation-restoration of cultural heritage samples on a scientific basis.
