The Faculty of Fine Arts is basic for the Academy of Arts. Its educational programs and developing methodology are the basis of modern Georgian visual-cultural processes and achievements.

The workshops of the faculty and the directions included in it reflect both the traditional and the latest currents of contemporary fine art. Teaching is carried out in several directions. First of all, students learn the general basics of fine arts, and then, according to the bachelor’s and master’s programs, according to the specializations presented by the faculty, the directions of their interests are determined.

Creative workshops of specialized theater and cinema-television art are functioning at the faculty.
