A one-semester Erasmus student mobility competition is announced for TSSA Faculty of Fine Arts – Painting students. The competition is for 1 place for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year at the Academy of Arts in Szczecin, Poland.

Applicant students must submit the following documents to the head of the painting department and the commission (in English):
• Portfolio
• CV
• Mark sheet (in Georgian)
• Letter of motivation
• English language certificate B2 or proof of English knowledge at B2 level, issued by a TSSA foreign language teacher
• Application for participation in the competition (submit a photo of the application after registration at the TSSA Chancellery)

Applicants, please note:
• According to Erasmus+ program regulations, only students with active status may participate in Erasmus mobility. The student must pay the tuition fee before the start of the mobility semester.
• Students should familiarize themselves with the “Erasmus+ Guide for TSSA Student Mobility” available on the TSSA website.
• The final selection will be made by the Erasmus partner university, based on nominations from the faculty committee.
• The winner of the Erasmus competition is responsible for covering necessary expenses until the Erasmus grant is awarded after arrival in the destination country.

From May 27-31, within the Erasmus+ institutional agreement between TSS and Tartu University-Pallas University of Applied Sciences High School of Arts, Asmat Tkeshelashvili, professor of restoration, participated in a mobility program. The workshop, titled “Methodology of Paper Conservation in the Academy of Arts and Georgia: Printed Paper Cleaning – Dry and Wet Methods, Japanese Paper”, was conducted for students at Tartu University.

A student selection competition is announced for TSSA Faculty of Design undergraduate/master’s students to participate in the Salzburg International/Interdisciplinary Design Week (12 places available: 4 for industrial design, 4 for furniture design and artistic woodworking, 1 for textile design, 1 for artistic ceramics, 1 for artistic glass, and 1 for jewelry and metal decorative plastic). The event will take place in December 2024, organized by FH Salzburg University of Applied Science, Austria, within the Erasmus+ program.

UNESCO announces the Future Designer International Innovation Design Awards 2024 (IIDA) and Science for SDGs Innovation Competition, aimed at showcasing sustainable design ideas from young talents worldwide.
Eligibility:
• Teams of up to 5 members, aged 16-35 (including school students, university students, researchers, and scientists).
