On April 15, as part of the Erasmus exchange program, professors from two partner universities visited the ceramics department of the Faculty of Design at the Tbilisi State Art Academy. Bozhidar Bonchev from Sofia University in Bulgaria and Firdevs Muzhde Gokbel Yavuzoglu from Kastamonu University in Turkey had the opportunity to engage with the rector of the Academy of Arts, the dean of the faculty, the head of the ceramics department, and other representatives of the Academy. During their visit, the professors toured the studios, and workshops were scheduled for the next five days

On April 8, the Museum of Tapestry and Artistic Textiles hosted the presentation of the album “Georgian Tapestry.” This project was realized through the collaborative efforts of the Tbilisi Apollon Kutateladze State Art Academy and the Ministry of Culture and Sports, with generous funding and support from the Ministry. The album serves as a comprehensive showcase of artists spanning various generations who have contributed to the realm of tapestry art. Many of the featured tapestries are housed within the Tapestry and Artistic Textile Museum at the Apollon Kutateladze State Academy of Arts in Tbilisi.

On March 29, 2024, Professor Gulgeiran Rahimova, Head of the Department of Strategic Development at Baku University of Culture and Arts in Azerbaijan, paid a visit to the Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Art Academy. During the visit, discussions were held with the Academy’s rector and professors specializing in textile design and restoration. The primary agenda item was the collaborative development and implementation of a textile restoration program.
