The staff mobility contest to the TSAA Design Faculty Erasmus partner – Kastamonu University, Turkey, is announced, for taking part in the International Staff Week, to be held on 14-19 October, 2024.
Staff week is dedicated to Erasmus+ program issues and expanding institutional cooperation..

The selection first phase should be done at the applicant’s faculty/department, and the formal nomination letter should be issued.
The final selection should be done after the host university approval of the candidate.

The application process includes presenting formal documents in Eng., signed/stamped by the applicant’s faculty/department’s responsible leading person:
application form of the kastamonu university with the applicant’s photo
document stating the knowledge of English language
motivation letter
nomination letter
reference, stating the applican’t working experience at the TSAA

ERASMUS
April 29 – May 3, 2024
At the Bratislava Academy of Fine Arts and Design (AFAD), Tamaz Varvaridze, head of the graphics department of the Tbilisi Apollon Kutateladze State Academy of Arts—Faculty of Fine Arts, and the students of the same department were on mobility.
As part of the mobility, lectures and a workshop were held with the head of the painting department of the Bratislava Academy, Professor Rasto Sedlacik, in which Slovak and Georgian students were involved. The lecture was devoted to modern Georgian painting, and the seminar was dedicated to typography. The Academy of Arts graphic arts department students participated in the one-week exchange program: Baka Alavidze, Yulia Sharashenidze, Margarita Okujava, and Nino Fitskhelauri.

The Head of the International Relations Service of the Apollon Kutateladze State Art Academy of Tbilisi and Erasmus institutional coordinator, Maya Kipiani, as part of the Erasmus program, was invited by the new Erasmus partner of the Art Academy, Paul Valéry University Montpellier 3 in France, to the week of international services.
In parallel with the training, new perspectives of cooperation in cinematography were discussed: ICM, BIP, and other large-scale collaborative projects, student mobility, and challenges related to the reception of foreign students. There were also familiarization visits to cinema and theater departments and campuses, meetings with academic staff, and others

On May 22, within the framework of the Erasmus program, representatives of the Karel de Grote University of Applied Sciences, Arts St Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp, Belgium – Kurt Vanbelegem and Laura Braspenning. The guests met the rector, vice-rectors, dean of the Faculty of Design, and heads of all seven departments of the Art Academy. Also, students of the Faculty of Design

ERASMUS
On May 13-17, Giorgi Pachkoria, associate professor of the design faculty and direction of artistic ceramics, was a guest at Kastamonu University of Turkey within the framework of Erasmus cooperation. The professor conducted a 5-day workshop for his colleagues and university students.

On May 13-17, the Erasmus partner of the Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, at the invitation of the Sofia National Academy, was on mobility in Bulgaria, the vice-dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Art Academy, Professor Otar Chakvetadze. He conducted a workshop for students, met with representatives of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Sofia Academy, and held talks on future cooperation, joint projects, and exchange of students and academic staff
