The Ninth Annual International Conference “Science for Sustainable Development 2024” will take place on June 21-22, 2024, at Caucasus University.

Abstract submission deadline: May 10, 2024.

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

The conference covers various thematic areas. Of particular interest to academics is the socio-cultural sustainability direction, encompassing topics such as sustainable urbanism, education, governance sustainability, human development, psychology, sociology, tourism (including tourism as a development tool, tourism management), art, architecture, cultural heritage tourism, health and wellness tourism, medical tourism, and more.

The Embassy of the United States of America in Georgia, in collaboration with the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, is pleased to continue its series of online public lectures.

For the month of February 2024, our focus is on African-American History. The topic of this virtual meeting is: “Exploring the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Collection of African-American Artists.”

We will delve into the social themes portrayed by African-American artists in their works, encompassing civil rights, the struggle for freedom, social change, and more. Our presenter, Lillian O’Connell from the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, will guide us through this enlightening presentation.
