The Faculty of Art History and Theory of Restoration at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (TSAA), Department of Art History and Theory, is proud to announce the selection of two 4th year students for Erasmus mobility at the Catholic Private University Linz, Austria.

Selected Students:

  • Mariam Katamadze
  • Mariam Khubulashvili

Both students have been nominated and accepted by the Catholic University of Linz for the fall semester of 2024. They will be participating in English language programs specially designed for foreign students, which were announced for the fall semester of 2024.

The Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and the French Institute of Georgia are pleased to announce the joint Research Internship Program Grant Competition for 2024.

Competition Abbreviation: GFI

Competition Objectives:

  1. a) To foster scientific collaboration between Georgia and France, facilitating joint participation in international scientific research projects.
  2. b) To stimulate the initiation of scientific cooperation between French and Georgian scientists and support the professional growth of young Georgian researchers.

Project Application Type: Individual

This program offers a unique opportunity for researchers to engage in collaborative research endeavors, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and fostering international cooperation between Georgia and France. We encourage all eligible individuals to apply and seize the opportunity to enhance their research capabilities and network with peers from both countries.

The Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) are pleased to announce the 2024 grant competition for the joint “Rustaveli-DAAD” scholarship program.

This program is designed for:

  • Young scientists (citizens of Georgia) who have been awarded their doctoral degree no more than 12 years prior to the announcement of the competition.
  • PhD students.
  • Doctoral students of joint doctoral programs.

The grant competition aims to fund projects that include internships at German higher educational institutions and/or research institutes, covering the following subjects:

  1. a) For young scientists: The scholarship duration is between 2 to 6 months.
  2. b) For PhD students: The scholarship duration is 3 months.
  3. c) For doctoral students of joint doctoral programs: The scholarship duration is 6 months.

Internships must take place between June 1 and November 30, 2024.

This opportunity provides a valuable experience for Georgian researchers to engage in collaborative research and academic activities with their counterparts in Germany. We encourage eligible candidates to apply and take advantage of this enriching opportunity.

 

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) announces grant programs for Georgian researchers.

Two Competitions Announced:

  • International Scholarship for Outstanding Researchers
  • International Scholarship for Young Researchers

These grant programs offer researchers a stipend, travel expenses, insurance, and per diem. The project duration is 24 to 36 months.

The student selection competition is announced  for the Erasmus+ training mobility (2 months)   to  the Selcuk university, Turkey,  for the students of the graphics and painting departments,  Faculty of Fine Arts – 2 places, for the winter semester,   2024

The application process requirements are the following:
·         portfolio
·         CV
·         transcript of records
·         motivation letter
·         recommendation letter on behalf of the course leading professor
·         English language certificate-Level B2,  or  reference, issued by the TSAA English language teacher

The noted above documents should be presented to the faculty Board.
