On February 12, 2025, a group of professors and students from leading Chinese design schools visited the Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. The delegation was led by Professor Xiaoyong, a specialist in Visual Communication Design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) in Beijing. He also serves as a professor at the Macau University of Science and Technology, is the chief designer of the 2008 Beijing Olympics medal, and acts as a Cumulus Association advisor, board member, and former Vice President of the International Council of Design (Ico-D, 2009–2011).
A meeting was held with the Rector of TSAA and representatives of the Academy, during which plans for university exchange cooperation were discussed
