Competition for Students of the Faculty of Fine Arts

Currently, over 120 million people are displaced worldwide, seeking safety far from home to escape war, violence, and persecution. The number of internally displaced people has doubled in the last decade, reaching a record high.
One of the priorities of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Georgia is to raise awareness about the challenges faced by refugees, especially among young people. To address this, UNHCR Georgia has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts and is announcing a competition for students of the Faculty of Fine Arts!
Topic: “Hope Far From Home – The Experience of Forced Displacement”
The competition will be judged by a special jury, and the three winning works will receive prizes. In addition, the winning pieces will be used in the branding of UNHCR Georgia in the future.
Prizes:
• 1st Place – 3500 GEL gift card for City Mall
• 2nd Place – 2500 GEL gift card for City Mall
• 3rd Place – 1500 GEL gift card for City Mall
In December 2024, an exhibition will be held at the Art Academy to showcase all the competition entries.
