Prerequisite for admission to the program: The entrant must have a bachelor's academic degree; he/she should have passed entrance examination of educational program of the Faculty of Visual arts in drawing and foreign language (level B2)
Annotation: The master's program includes the study of the sculptural heritage in the context of the world and Georgian art (ancient and modern art), a deep understanding of its artistic values.The program is focused on research and analysis of both traditional and innovative technical and technological and artistic approaches, the implementation of large and small, multi-aspect, mono-and multi-figure, large-scale, experimental artistic tasks, taking into account obtained results.In the training course provided by the program, an important place is given to research and study of the Georgian and generally Caucasian plastics in the creative plan, in the anthropological aspect. All components included in the program ensure development of the field and general competencies, envisaged by the program.
The need for the development of the program was caused by high rate of civil architecture development in Georgia, topicality of relationships of urban architecture, municipal design projects of gardens, parks and landscapes, as well as sculptures, which led to the growing demand for specialists of this field in the modern labor market. The developed program will give students opportunity to become competitive in the domestic and international employment market and adapt to the contemporary art space.
