Nino Tchogoshvili

In 1995 Nino Tchogoshvili graduated the Faculty of Architecture, Art History and Theory (Specialisation: Art Historian).
She has completed post-graduate studies at the Giorgi Chubinashvili Institute of Georgian Art History.
During 1994-1995 she studied at the University of Basel; between 1998-1999 was DAAD fellow at the Institute of History of Art at the University of Bonn and in 2009, at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
Tchogoshvili worked at the Chair of Art History and Theory at the Tbilisi State University and at the Giorgi Chubinashvili National Research Centre for History of Georgian Art and Monument Protection.
She is a founder of the Culture and Management Laboratory (2010) and a co-founder of the CCCD, Caucasian Centre for Cultural Development (2000).
Between 2012 and 2014 she served as an Active Dean and from 2014 as a Dean of the Faculty of Restoration, Art History and Theory of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
Tchogoshvili has written lecture courses. She is the author of several of research papers.
In 2007 she was the curator of the Georgian pavilion at the International Venice Biennale.
She is a member/expert of specialised committees at the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia and the Ministry of Education of Georgia.
